Sign in to FrameCast on your Mac Sign in from the menu bar to get share links, upload screenshots to Files, sync studio presets, and connect your iPhone. Recording works without an account.
Where to find it Menu bar → Sign In…
How to do it 1 Click the FrameCast icon in the menu bar and choose Sign In… . You can also press Sign In… on the studio’s Overview .
2 A sign-in window opens. Sign in, or create an account.
3 When you finish, the menu bar shows your email and plan.
4 To sign out, open the menu bar menu and choose Sign Out .
Good to know Recording and editing are free and stay on your Mac without an account. Signing in is what turns on Share link when I stop , screenshot uploads, and preset sync.

Download the signed disk image from getframecast.com, drag FrameCast to Applications, and open it. It runs from the menu bar on macOS 14 or later.
Save and switch recording setups
Save your camera, overlays, screen recording settings, and shortcuts as a studio preset, then switch back before the next take.
Sign in or create an account
Sign in with Apple, an emailed code, or a password. New to FrameCast? The same steps make your account.
Install FrameCast on your iPhone and sign in
Get FrameCast from the App Store and sign in with the same account you use on the Mac and getframecast.com, so links, files, and credits are shared.
