Meetings
Join a meeting with a code or link
Open the meeting link, or type its code, to join from a browser, the Mac app, or the iPhone app. Guests type a name and join without an account.
Where to find it
Open the meeting link, or getframecast.com/meet → Join a meeting
How to do it
Open the link you were sent, or go to getframecast.com/meet and paste the link or code into Join a meeting, then press Join.
If you're not signed in, type Your name. It's how others see you.
Pick your Microphone, Speaker, and Camera, and turn the camera or microphone off if you like.
Press Join meeting. If the meeting has a waiting room, you see Waiting for the host to let you in until a host admits you.
In the Mac or iPhone app, paste the code or link into Join a meeting on the Meetings page or Meet tab and press Join.
Good to know
- Codes have 10 letters, like kdq-xzrw-pnb.
- On a phone, open the link in Safari or Chrome rather than inside another app's built-in browser. Sound and full screen work better there.
- If a meeting doesn't allow people without an account, sign in first.
- Who can use it
- Free; guests don't need an account unless the host turns that off
- Where it works
- Web · Mac · iPhone
