Edit a recording
Save a project to keep editing later
Save Project keeps the timeline, transcript and copies of every piece of media in one project file you can reopen, or save to your cloud.
Where to find it
Editor → Save Project (top right)
How to do it
Press Save Project, or ⌘S, and choose where to keep it.
To rename it, click the project’s name above the button and type a new one.
To open it later, use Open Project… (⌘O), the recent list in the ⋯ menu, or the studio’s Projects page.
Signed in, choose Save to Cloud in the ⋯ menu to carry on in the web editor or on another Mac.
Good to know
- Exporting a movie does not save the editable project. Closing with unsaved changes asks first.
- Save Project As… (⇧⌘S) saves a copy. A cloud copy counts toward your storage.
- Who can use it
- Free; Save to Cloud needs sign-in
- Where it works
- Mac
