Make a link stop working on a date

Set a date and time when a share link expires. After that, viewers see that the link has expired.

Where to find it

Video settings → Who can watch → Link expires

How to do it

  1. Open the video’s Settings and insights page.

  2. Under Who can watch, pick a date and time in Link expires.

  3. Press Save changes.

Good to know

  • Press Never beside the date, then Save changes, to remove the expiry.
  • After it expires, viewers see “This link has expired.” You can still see the video in your library.
