Take photos and videos that upload to FrameCast Files

FrameCast's camera saves photos and videos straight into a FrameCast Files folder you pick, and uploads them in the background.

Where to find it

Record tab → Open camera

FrameCast's iPhone camera in Photo mode, saving to My Files › Camera Uploads, with lens buttons and Video, Photo, and Video message modes.

How to do it

  1. On the Record tab, tap Open camera.

  2. Tap the Saving to chip at the top and choose Choose Folder… to pick where captures go.

  3. Tap Photo or Video. Tap a lens such as .5 or 2, pinch to zoom, and tap to focus.

  4. Tap the shutter. Tap the thumbnail to see Captures and their upload status.

Good to know

  • The ⋯ menu has the photo format, resolution and frame rate for video, Timer, Grid, and Also save to Photos.
  • Uploads keep going after you leave the app. In Captures, a failed upload can be retried or sent to another folder.
  • Signed out, photos stay on this iPhone.
