System audio and microphone on Mac

On Mac, system audio and your microphone are different paths. FrameCast keeps them separate on purpose: turn the mic on when you want to be in the take.

If a recording has app sound but no narrator, the mic was off — not a broken install.

What each path captures

System audio — sound from apps and the Mac (the work you are showing)
Microphone — your voice for narration, captions, and presence
Camera — picture only; it does not replace mic audio
