Voice-over credits, explained
Recording is free. A generated voice-over spends account credits. FrameCast shows the total before you press Generate, and the take lands in Audio assets for reuse on export.
Monthly plans add credits when each invoice is paid. Top-ups cover a shortfall. The generated recording is not kept on our side as a library of your voice takes.
Generate without surprises
Sign in from the FrameCast menu. Open Voice-over in the video editor, choose the entire transcript or one segment, and pick a voice. Catalogue samples are free to audition.
The generation section shows the price for that request. After Generate, the audio appears on the timeline; exporting reuses it without another generation charge.
What leaves the Mac
Transcription for the script path runs on your Mac. Generating a voice-over sends the selected script and delivery settings so a new voice can match your words and timing — see the privacy page for the full account of what is stored.
Credits vs seats
You are not buying per-creator cloud recording seats for capture. Credits are optional narration — useful when you want a clean read without re-recording the room.
