Add a calendar event from the screen

Drag over an invite, email, or flyer, and FrameCast reads the date, time, and place into an event you can check and add to your calendar.

Where to find it

⇧⌘5 → capture bar → More → Calendar Event

How to do it

  1. Open the capture bar with ⇧⌘5 and choose More → Calendar Event.

  2. Drag over the invite, email, or flyer.

  3. Check the title, time, and place on the card that appears.

  4. Press Add to Calendar, or Google Calendar.

Good to know

  • If FrameCast can’t reach your calendar, press Allow Access… and allow it in System Settings.
  • On a screenshot you already took, use Add to Calendar from its thumbnail’s More panel.
  • With Apple Intelligence on macOS 26, FrameCast follows your naming instructions. Otherwise it reads dates and times on its own.
