Add a calendar event with a video call from a screenshot on iPhone

Read an invite or event from a screenshot or picture, then add it to your calendar with a FrameCast video call link already in it.

Where to find it

Files → a picture → More → Extract Calendar Event

How to do it

  1. Open a picture in Files, or an item in Clipboard, that shows an event.

  2. Tap More (or touch and hold the item) and choose Extract Calendar Event.

  3. Tap Add Event with Video Call. FrameCast makes a meeting and puts its link in the event.

  4. Check the details in Apple's new-event screen and add it to the calendar you want.

Good to know

  • Tap Add Event instead to add it without a call. The picture is read on your iPhone.
  • From Photos, use the share sheet's Add to Calendar with FrameCast to add an event from any screenshot.
