Use and change keyboard shortcuts

FrameCast’s shortcuts work from any app. Search them, remap any of them, or turn them all off on the Shortcuts page.

Where to find it

Studio → Shortcuts → Keyboard

How to do it

  1. Open the studio and choose Shortcuts.

  2. Type in Search name or shortcut to find one by name or keys, such as “record” or “cmd shift”.

  3. Click a shortcut badge, then press the new keys. Esc cancels; Delete restores the default.

  4. If the keys are already used by another FrameCast shortcut, the two swap.

  5. Press Restore Defaults to undo every change.

Good to know

  • Turn all shortcuts off or on with Global shortcuts, Hotkeys in the menu bar, or ⌃H. ⌃H keeps working while the rest are off.
  • Click a shortcut’s name to run it now.
