AI tools & voice-over

Compose AI background music for your video

Compose an instrumental track exactly as long as your edit, quieter under speech and with an ending, or use a matching track that is already made.

Where to find it

Video editor → Edit tab, nothing selected → Music

How to do it

  1. In the Edit tab, click empty space so nothing is selected, and scroll to Music.

  2. Pick a mood, such as Upbeat, Corporate or Cinematic, and optionally describe the instruments, tempo or feel.

  3. Under Matching tracks, press play to hear 20 free seconds, and its Use button to take one for less than composing.

  4. Or press Compose music. The button shows the price.

  5. If you shorten the edit later, press Trim music to the edit. It costs nothing.

Good to know

  • Artist and song names aren’t allowed. If a description is refused, press Use suggestion to try the rewrite offered.
  • A new take replaces the last one on the timeline and keeps its level and fades. Earlier takes stay in Assets › Audio.
  • On iPhone it is the Music panel in the editor.
