Lock a shared iPhone to your team
Lock mode keeps a shared iPhone in one team: people can take photos and videos and upload them, but switching teams, signing out, and settings need a PIN.
Where to find it
iPhone → Account → Lock mode → Turn On Lock Mode…
How to do it
Switch the app to the team, then open the Account tab.
Under Lock mode, tap Turn On Lock Mode….
Type a PIN, type it again, and choose whether Face ID or Touch ID also unlocks it.
Tap Turn On. Use Lock Now after you've unlocked it to change something.
Good to know
- Files, Clipboard, Meet, the account, and settings need the PIN while it's locked. Turn on Guided Access in iPhone Settings to keep people in FrameCast.
- The PIN is kept only on that iPhone. If it's forgotten, delete FrameCast, install it again, and sign in.
- Who can use it
- Team owners and admins
- Where it works
- iPhone
