Remove background noise and polish your voice

Polish voice cleans room noise, gates breaths, softens harsh S sounds, evens the level and sets YouTube loudness when you export.

Where to find it

Editor → Export tab → Audio finishing → Polish voice

How to do it

  1. On the Export tab, press Polish voice in the Audio finishing card.

  2. Pick another Treatment or Character if you want a different sound, and adjust Cleanup, Clarity, Body and Punch.

  3. Move the playhead to a spoken part and press the Listen button, such as Listen at 0:12. Switch between Before and After while it plays.

  4. Press Export video…. The finishing is applied to the exported movie.

Good to know

  • It runs on your Mac and doesn’t use credits. Reset turns it off.
  • Music on the timeline is kept apart from the voice, so only the speech is treated.
