Make your video’s audio louder or set it to −14 LUFS

Loudness measures the whole export like streaming services do and sets it to −14, −16 or −23 LUFS, with peaks kept below −1.5 dB.

Where to find it

Editor → Export tab → Audio finishing → Loudness

How to do it

  1. On the Export tab, find the Audio finishing card.

  2. Set Loudness to −14 LUFS · YouTube, Spotify, −16 LUFS · Podcasts, Apple or −23 LUFS · Broadcast (EBU R128).

  3. Press Export video….

  4. After the export, the card says what it measured and how much it changed the level.

Good to know

  • Loudness works on its own without changing the voice. Polish voice turns it on along with voice cleanup.
