Resize a video for Reels, TikTok, or Shorts in your browser

Use the Frame tab to crop a landscape video to 9:16, square, or 4:5, and pick a canvas size preset such as Reel or 4K.

Where to find it

Web editor → Frame tab

How to do it

  1. Open the Frame tab on the right.

  2. Under Frame, choose a shape: Reel 9:16, Square 1:1, Portrait 4:5, Landscape 16:9, Cinema 2.39:1, or Custom.

  3. Press Frame under the preview, then drag the frame to choose which part of the video shows. Drag an edge or corner to zoom.

  4. Under Canvas, press a preset such as Reel or 4K Reel, or type a Width and Height.

Good to know

  • The frame applies to the whole timeline. Clips you place on the canvas keep their own box.
  • With nothing selected, dragging the canvas's edges in the Canvas view resizes it while everything on it keeps its size and place.
