FrameCast

Edit a recording

Start a new video project from scratch

Start an empty project on the canvas size and frame rate you choose, then add videos, images and audio from your Mac.

Where to find it

Menu bar icon → New Project… (⌘N), or studio → Projects → New Project…

How to do it

  1. Choose New Project… from the FrameCast menu bar icon, the studio’s Projects page, or the editor’s ⋯ menu.

  2. Pick a Canvas: size, such as Landscape · 1920 × 1080 or Vertical · 1080 × 1920, and a Frame rate: from 24 to 60 fps.

  3. Press Create. The editor opens with an empty timeline.

  4. Press Add files… in the preview, or drag videos, images, audio or a folder from Finder onto the preview.

Good to know

  • Your canvas and frame rate choices are remembered for the next new project. You can change the canvas later.
  • Start from a Script… in the same dialog begins with narration on the Text track instead.
