Make a GIF in your browser

Export any part of your edit as an animated GIF, choosing the frame rate, number of colors, dithering, and whether it loops.

Where to find it

Web editor → Export → Format → GIF

How to do it

  1. Trim the timeline to the part you want in the GIF.

  2. Press Export and choose GIF under Format.

  3. Choose a Size, a Frame rate, and how many Colors to keep.

  4. Under Playback, choose Loop forever or Play once, and tick Dither for smoother gradients.

  5. Press Export GIF, then Download.

Good to know

  • GIFs have no sound. A smaller size, a lower frame rate, and fewer colors make a smaller file. The window shows the size before you export.
  • Repeat writes the clip back to back several times in one file.
