Camera & overlays

Resize and move the camera

Drag the camera or its edges, type an exact size, snap it to a corner, or move it to another display. Lock it once it’s right.

Where to find it

Studio → Camera & look → Window → Size & Position

How to do it

  1. Drag the camera to move it, or drag its edges to resize. Hold ⇧ to keep its shape.

  2. In Size & Position, type a size in points, or press 160, 240, 320, or 440. Shrink (⌥⌘-) and Grow (⌥⌘=) step it.

  3. Press Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right, or Center (⌥⌘1 to ⌥⌘5) to snap it.

  4. Press Next Display (⌥⌘D) to move it to another screen.

  5. Turn on Lock position & size so it can’t be dragged.

Good to know

  • The arrow buttons under Move and 1 pt nudge it. ⌥⌘ and ⌃⌥⌘ with the arrow keys do the same.
  • Snap to screen edges lines it up as you drag.
