2 Drag over the part of the window that scrolls, such as a web page, chat, or document.
3 Scroll down through it at a steady pace. The panel counts the height so far.
4 Press Done , Return, or ⇧⌘1 again. The tall screenshot appears in the corner like any other, copied and kept on the Screenshots page.
Good to know A header or toolbar that stays put, like a chat’s text box, is kept once instead of repeating down the image. If the panel says Lost the place , scroll back up a little, then more slowly. A capture can be up to 32,000 pixels tall. When it’s full, the panel says so; press Done to keep it. ⇧⌘1 applies while Replace macOS screenshot shortcuts is on. Otherwise it’s ⇧⌥⌘1, and you can change it on the Shortcuts page.
