Web editor & recorder

Use your FrameCast Files and assets in the web editor

Add screenshots and media from FrameCast Files, or logos and music saved to My assets, to a web project without downloading them first.

Where to find it

Web editor → Media → Project, My assets, or Files

How to do it

  1. Sign in, then look at the Media library on the left.

  2. Press Files to browse your FrameCast Files, including screenshots from your Mac, or My assets for media you keep for every project.

  3. Double-click an item to insert it at the playhead, or drag it onto a track.

  4. To keep a project file for later, open its menu and choose Save to My assets. When you're working in a team, that tab is the team's assets instead, and the menu says Save to and the team's name.

Good to know

  • Adding a shared asset copies it into the project. Renaming or removing the shared one never changes projects that use it.
  • My assets show up in projects on the web, the Mac, and the iPhone.
