Change how captions look

Pick one of 19 caption styles, then change the font, color, outline, background, animation and position. The preview matches the export.

Where to find it

Editor → Export tab → Captions

How to do it

  1. On the Export tab, turn on Show on the video in the Captions card.

  2. Under Style, pick a look such as Classic, Boxed, Neon or Karaoke.

  3. Use Text for Font, Weight, Case, Color and Size, and Effects for Outline, Shadow and Background.

  4. Use Place to put captions at the Bottom, Middle or Top, and Lift or Margin to fine-tune.

  5. Press Save as a look to reuse these settings in other projects.

Good to know

  • Reset to style goes back to the style as it comes, keeping size and placement.
  • Caption style… in a caption’s Caption line card opens these settings too.
